NAD Announces ADA Policy Developed for International Motorcycle Shows

The National Association of the Deaf (NAD) and Advanstar Communications, Inc. (Advanstar) announced October 15, 2003 that the NAD and Advanstar worked together to develop a policy for Advanstar to ensure effective communication for deaf and hard of hearing attendees participating in future International Motorcycle Shows conducted by Advanstar.

Rosaline Crawford, an attorney with the NAD Law and Advocacy Center said, "It is important to recognize the need and to ensure that deaf and hard of hearing individuals have an equal opportunity to participate in Trade Shows and other large scale marketing events."
